The Seaport is a quick bike ride, car ride or extended walk from our waterfront location.

The Denison Homestead (first built during the 18th century) was once home to 6 generations of the Denison family is now a lovingly restored museum filled with antique furniture.
Not only does Mystic boast a wealth of historic charm, it has also been blessed with gorgeous natural landscapes that are an attraction in their own right. The Peace Nature Sanctuary offers an unspoiled oasis which is perfect for a relaxing stroll among the native plants. For those who prefer to exert a little more energy, the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center is also on the doorstep of our gorgeous property and is home to over 300 acres of meadows, wetlands and woods where you can explore 10 miles of scenic hiking trails.
The enviable setting of our resort means that it is well placed to enjoy an active break. We have on-site bicycles available so you can enjoy a ride around the beautiful local area as well as watercraft from our private dock so you can try your hand at paddle boarding or kayaking. For those who are seeking a greater adrenaline rush, the Fields of Fire Adventure Park is home to over 50 acres of woodland offering exciting elevated trails, and zip lines that are sure to satisfy even the most hardened thrill-seeker!
